There are too many friends in Facebook and Twitter,
So, it's kind of awkward to write this.

But here, I guess not many people is checking.

I just want to thank you.
The words you told me really saved me.

It was just impressive, and I cannot forget.
When I'm down, I remember the words.

well, I'm emo because it's raining now.

From the hostel in Sevilla, Spain

6th day was today in Spain.
I flew from Singapore to Madrid, and moved to Cordoba by bus.

Now, I´m in Sevilla. I´ll move to Algeciras tomorrow by bus again.

This trip is what I wanted since I started studying Spanish.
Although I couldn´t find any company, I realized my plan.
Friends worried because I would be alone in Europe.

Everyday, I am learning something with some pain/cost.

For example, I was cheated at a cafe in Cordoba.
The price I was cheated was 2.20Euro.
Now I know I need to check the receipt before I pay.

For example, it took a long time for the waiter to serve me a dessert.
The cost was the time (though I was not in a hurry).
The teach was, or what I needed to do was, to express what I want.
"because he looked busy" is not a excuse here.

1/3 of the trip has been over already.
So far, I didn´t have any major accident.
I thank for that.

and, I wish this good condition of the trip continues.
Now, time to go to bed.
Another new world is waiting for me tomorrow!

admirable friends

My exchange program is coming to the end.

I came here, Singapore, on 24th July 2009;
to give myself one year to think about my future,
to meet my friends,
to study English
and
to see the world.

I traveled a lot during the stay in Singapore:Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia. Of course, I traveled inside of Singapore as well.

But still, I would not say that I saw the world.
I saw a part of the world; I traveled a lot and I met a lot of people. I saw many things I had not seen.

For example,
I met a boy in cambodia. He knew how to ply his pole on a boat.
I met a lady in Laos. She treated my friends and me really nicely though she barely understood our language.
The girl I traveled with in Malaysia, she negotiated successfully by changing her tone and volume of speech.
The two friends I love, they are full of wit and always make me laugh.
The guy and the girl I know for almost 8 months, they are really good at communication: the guy's good at starting and keeping conversation, while the girl is good at opening others' mind and making them feel confortable.

It's endless, so let me stop here for now.

Although I have not found what to do in my future yet,
it was worth coming here to meet them, I think.

And, since I have only 3 more month in Singapore,
I'd like to cherish the time with them and learn from them as much as possible.

你不可以把它带回去(bring it back)或(or)当凉鞋穿(wear it back as sandals)。
